The presentation will cover the simplified classification—which eliminates the HFmrEF category—as well as the new stages A through D; the new treatment framework consisting of Foundational Medical Therapy, Additional Medical Therapy, and Guideline-Directed Interventional Therapy; recommendations for earlier initiation of treatment with rapid titration; and more specific recommendations regarding decompensated heart failure and obesity as an independent treatment goal.
