This Medudy Master Class Series is a video tutorial for physicians on prostate cancer.
This four-part module focuses on metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) and is presented by Prof. Dr. Martin Bögemann, senior physician in urology and pediatric urology at the University Hospital in Münster.
The first section addresses first-line therapy for mCRPC, taking into account prior treatment for mHSPC. The second section then focuses on the approach to sequential therapy. The third part reviews current studies on PARP inhibitors and ARPI/PARPI combination therapy, as well as the relevance of BRCA1/2 mutations in this context. Finally, the fourth part offers an outlook on the future of treatment for mCRPC and presents therapeutic approaches currently undergoing clinical trials.
