This Medudy course is a video tutorial for physicians on the topic of "Advances in breast cancer: ADC Iza-bren in TNBC."
Prof. Maggie Banys-Paluchowski, MD, Deputy Director of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the University Medical Center Schleswig-Holstein, will present Iza-bren.
She will explain the dual mechanism of action of this potential first-in-class bispecific antibody-drug conjugate, which targets both EGFR and HER3 and is coupled with a topoisomerase I payload. In addition, she will highlight the potential role of Iza-bren in the treatment of triple-negative breast cancer, which is currently being investigated in the IZABRIGHT-Breast01 study.
Note: All "speakers" appearing in the Medudy videos are AI-based avatars used to improve the didactics of the videos. The people on whom the avatars are based have explicitly consented to their use. All content is based on high-quality scientific sources and is created and reviewed by the Medudy medical team.
The course was created with the kind support of BMS.
At the end of this training you will know:
- the molecular structure and mechanism of action of Iza-bren
- The potential role of Iza-bren in the treatment of triple-negative breast cancer
- The IZABRIGHT-Breast01 study design ONC-DE-2600041
